"Gratitude" Layout & Tutorial

Hi there! Karen here and I am ready to show you a "Gratitude" layout using the fabulous Teresa Collins Documented collection, as well as some printed papers by Jenni Bowlin!

For my project, I decided to choose "my family" as the theme for this layout! When you create your layout, you can choose whatever you may be grateful! During this time of the season, it makes us reflect on what we are grateful, so choose what you may and just have fun with it!!

Let's get started...

Supplies -
Printed Papers: Teresa Collins Designs (Document Collection) & Jenni Bowlin; Cardstock: Bazzill; Die Cut: Sizzix; Adhesive Pearls: Prima; Embossing Folders: Cuttlebug by Provocraft; Scallop Border Die cut: Unknown;

Instructions -
1. Cut polka dot paper 11x12. Adhere the black scallops to the back of the polka dot paper. Then adhere to the red background paper.

2. Cut the middle section paper 6x10.25. Adhere the black scallops to the back of the middle section paper. Adhere this piece now to the polka dot paper. About 2.25" down adhere your 6x4.25 photo. Cut strip of 2x6 red print paper, and back with black cardtock with a bottom border of about 1/4". Adhere to the middle section paper. Place right underneath the photo.

3. Adhere black cardstock to the family definition paper with a border of about 1/6". Adhere gratitude label, and crown ticket, as shown on the layout.

4. Cut black cardstock 1.75x6. Cut ivory cardstock 1.50x6. Run through the Cuttlebug machine using the Swiss Dots folder. Adhere ivory piece to the black cardstock.

5. To make the flower, cut 3 red print flowers from the die cut. Run through the Cuttlebug machine using the Tiny bubbles folder. Adhere the flower using pop dots. Cut out a clock from the acrylic paper. Back it with black cardstock making sure you have a slight border. Adhere to the center of the flower. Adhere a black button to the top of the acrylic clock piece. Adhere pearls to the top of the button.

That's it!! I've also added a close-up view of the embossed flower that lays on the embossed ivory paper!
